Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our care team. You will provide non-medical care, companionship, and support with daily activities to help seniors live independently at home.

We offer flexible day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts, biweekly pay, mileage reimbursement, referral bonuses, caregiver recognition programs, training and opportunities for career growth within a supportive office team.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or home-care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable and dependable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background checks and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
• Light housekeeping and laundry assistance.

What You’ll Do

• Provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry assistance
• Help with errands and transportation as needed
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition
• Encourage independence, dignity, and comfort

Requirements

• Previous caregiving, CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Ability to pass required background checks
