Job summary

Right at Home Columbia is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Immediate openings for part-time and full-time positions with start upon hiring.

Pay is $14.00 per hour, with additional pay based on performance, and flexible morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. As a caregiver, you will assist with daily activities, light housekeeping, meals and medications reminders, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred (or equivalent caregiver experience).
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as mobility, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Light housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, cleaning).
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to/from appointments and errands.
• Offer companionship and support for clients with dementia.
