Companions & Homemakers seeks caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow individualized care plans, transport clients, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship in a supportive environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and the ability to pass a background check. Open availability is preferred; prior caregiver experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed
