Job summary

Endurance Home Care is seeking compassionate Care Professionals for per diem shifts across Danbury, Ridgefield, New Fairfield in CT and Katonah and Brewster in NY. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, safety support, and transportation under care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to lift significant weight and assist in transferring clients.
• Willingness to commute within Fairfield County, CT.

Responsibilities

• Companionship, conversation and social interaction.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Safety supervision and safe mobility assistance to prevent falls.
• Assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Client transportation for errands and appointments.
• Medication reminders and help with filling prescriptions.
• Follow care plans and report changes to the Care Team.
• Facilitate medical appointments and related health activities.
• Monthly in-service trainings.
