Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules and help manage routines.
• Meal planning and preparation adhering to dietary requirements and hydration.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversations and activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Observe and report changes in health status to the care team and document care provided.
