Amada Senior Care North Shore is looking for a compassionate Caregiver in Skokie, Illinois. You'll assist clients with personal care tasks, provide companionship, and help with meal preparation. The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and health benefits for full-time employees, with a pay range of $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid ID and Social Security Card required.
• 1 year of experience or equivalent required.
• Driver’s License preferred.
• Ability to commute to North/Western suburbs required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health status.
• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary.

Skills

Experience in assisted living or senior care environments

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Proficiency in caregiving techniques

Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively

Familiarity with home care systems

Background in childcare, social work, or related fields

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Competence in meal preparation for special dietary needs
