Happy to Help Caregiving in Parkersburg, WV is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to support clients at home. You will provide non‑medical care to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent.

This hands‑on, relationship‑driven role offers flexible schedules (FT/PT/PRN) with competitive pay ($15–$17/hour), weekly or daily pay, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and holiday‑time pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, patient and respectful communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal cleanup.
• Provide medication reminders for scheduled medications.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
• Provide one-on-one care in private residences.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Offer respite care to family caregivers.
• Document shift activities and note changes in the client’s condition.
