Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care and support to clients in their own homes. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, meals, transportation, and medication administration as allowed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually).
• Ability to meet background check requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Dependable, compassionate and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client’s home.
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Supports the personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients.
• Prepares meals and assists with special diets.
• Performs general housekeeping and household support activities; provides companionship and emotional support.
• Assists with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Administers medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations when required.
• Assists with Passive Range of Motion activities when trained.
• Offers limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes.
• Maintains accurate communication and reports changes in client condition to the care team.
• Other duties as assigned.
