Job summary

BrightStar Care of Southern Orange County is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support a client in Dana Point, CA. This in-person role runs Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm, with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

You will provide companionship, transportation to appointments, medication reminders, meal prep, personal hygiene support, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance. A background check and drug screen are required, and prior caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience or CNA/HCA/HHA/PCA/DSP preferred
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation
• Transport client to appointments and errands
• Assist with mobility and light exercise
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals
• Support personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Perform light housekeeping
