Two years of healthcare or in-home care experience helps you join a team that prioritizes safety, dignity, and independence for clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in healthcare or in-home care.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid auto insurance required.
• Reliable transportation to clients’ homes.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of home.
• Willingness to work with male and female clients.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
• Compassionate, supportive, dependable and professional attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility around the home and during outings, including walks and medical appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals according to client needs.
• Complete grocery shopping and other errands or accompany clients as needed.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Observe and report unusual incidents or changes in a client’s condition.
• Respond promptly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Assist clients with activities essential to daily living.
• Encourage independence and maintain a respectful, supportive care environment.
