Amada Senior Care in Sugar Land, TX is hiring compassionate caregivers for in-home, non-medical support for seniors. Positions are full-time or part-time with travel to surrounding areas, flexible schedules, weekends and overnights available, and competitive pay.

As a caregiver, you will provide companionship, personal care assistance, medication reminders, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and daily living assistance in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Pass background check and drug screening
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare or in-home care
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of home
• Ability to work with both male and female clients
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Supportive, dependable and professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Give medication reminders as prescribed
• Assist with mobility and accompany clients to appointments
• Plan and prepare meals according to clients' needs
• Assist with light shopping and errands for clients
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home
• Ensure safety and respond promptly in emergencies
• Support daily living activities and independence

Your Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you'll help seniors maintain their independence and enjoy a better quality of life in the comfort of their homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Companionship: Provide meaningful conversation, emotional support, and friendly companionship to elderly clients.
• Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with essential daily needs, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their prescribed medications as directed.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients move safely around their homes and accompany them on walks and doctor's appointments.
• Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare meals according to clients' needs.
• Shopping Assistance: Complete shopping errands for clients or accompany them while shopping.
• Light Housekeeping: Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Safety & Emergency Response: Report unusual incidents and respond promptly and responsibly in emergency situations.
• Daily Living Support: Encourage and assist clients with activities that are essential to their everyday lives.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify, you must have:
