Job summary

Amada Senior Care is seeking a Non-Medical Home Health Aide in Channelview, TX to provide compassionate in-home support for seniors.

You will assist with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship, helping clients maintain safety, independence, and dignity in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius to client homes.

• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Planning and preparing balanced meals and providing feeding assistance when needed.
• Performing light housekeeping, including laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying to maintain a safe environment.
• Transporting clients to appointments, errands, and outings as needed.
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance.
• Encouraging participation in daily routines and meaningful activities.
• Observing clients and communicating noticeable changes in their condition.
