Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Jasper, TX is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship in clients' homes. You will perform personal care tasks, prep meals, assist with light housekeeping, and help with mobility and transportation while prioritizing dignity and independence.

We value flexibility—full-time, part-time, weekend and overnight shifts are available. Travel throughout Jasper and surrounding communities is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel throughout Jasper and surrounding communities.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship tailored to each client.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support and encourage daily engagement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship tailored to each client's individual needs, preferences, and daily routine.

Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging client independence, engagement, and participation in daily activities
