Job summary

Right at Home Prince George's County in Brandywine, MD is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team. You will assist seniors with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support with mobility and medications as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Housekeeping tasks: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks as instructed.
• Accompany the client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving, and ROM exercises.
• Provide reminders for medications and dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.
