Job summary

Right at Home Hilton Head/Savannah is seeking exceptional caregivers to join our team. We focus on quality of life and provide support for both clients and caregivers, including flexible hours, training, competitive pay, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

We have openings for full-time and part-time positions with flexible shifts—from mornings to overnights, weekdays and weekends—working in homes or senior living communities.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job; BILINGUAL a plus
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Preferably one year of caregiving experience, but no less than six months. Training available for newcomers
• Experience with dementia, hospice, or facilities is a plus
• Reliable transportation to and from each shift
• Possess both a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance
• Ability to pass a full employment background check

Responsibilities

• Assisting with showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting
• Assisting with transferring/moving client throughout their home
• Performing household tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing/cooking nutritious meals and snacks
• Providing transportation and accompanying clients on errands or appointments
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, crafts, games, puzzles
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
