Job summary

AmeriCARE Denver is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support elderly or disabled clients in a home setting in the Greater Denver Area. Saturday availability from 8am to 9pm is specifically requested, with Sundays also helpful.

You will assist with daily activities, personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping and medication reminders. We value reliability, clear communication and compassion.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to assist with mobility and personal care.
• Knowledge of dietary needs and cooking.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting.
• Shopping trips & light housekeeping, meal prep.
• Medication reminders.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Clear communication with clients, family and team.

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $20-22/hr or based on experience

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility


• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting

• Ability to act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency


• Clear communication with clients, family members, and team members

Caregiver Requirements

• Previous caregiver experience preferred


• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification


• Adherence to health and safety standards


• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints


• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner


• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills


• Physical endurance to complete required tasks


• High school diploma or equivalent
