Assisting Hands Home Care in Hurricane, UT, is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide practical support and meaningful companionship in clients’ homes. You will help with daily activities, mobility, meals, and medication reminders while delivering empathy and respect.

Whether you’re experienced or just starting your caregiving journey, we’ll provide training, tools, and encouragement to help you succeed while maintaining a flexible schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks).
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred — not required.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Documenting care using AxisCare app
• Following all safety and infection-control policies
