Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Utah seeks compassionate caregivers to provide in-home senior care. You will offer personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and light housekeeping in a supportive, family-like environment.

No formal caregiving certification is required, but CPR, background checks, and a willingness to learn are valued. Training and ongoing mentorship are provided along with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient caregiver with a reliable work history.
• CPR certification is preferred but not required.
• Background check, TB test or Chest X-ray may be required; prior caregiving experience in home care or assisted living is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Be a genuine and supportive companion to clients.
• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with walking, mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed.
• Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments and errands.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Provide Alzheimer’s/Dementia care support.
• Perform light housekeeping as part of daily care.
