Job summary

Caretech is seeking caring individuals to help clients live independently at home. You’ll be matched with clients based on availability and preferences, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. No caregiving experience is required—come with compassion and a willingness to learn, and we’ll train you.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Caretech offers reimbursement)
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening
• Previous caregiving experience is helpful, but not required
• Experience with transfers, gait belts or Hoyer lifts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Help people continue living life on their terms, in the comfort of their own homes
• Assist with bathing, dressing and personal care
• Assist with mobility, transfers and getting around safely
• Prepare meals and help around the home
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Help clients stay safe and independent at home
• Offer encouragement, patience and a helping hand
