Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job; BILINGUAL a plus.
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• One year caregiving experience preferred (family care counts) and training available.
• Experience with dementia, hospice, or facilities is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from each shift.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
• Ability to pass a full employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting
• Assisting with transferring/moving client throughout their home
• Performing household activities (vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry, etc.)
• Preparing/cooking nutritious meals and snacks
• Providing transportation and accompanying clients to errands/appointments
• Dementia care and companionship activities
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
