Job summary

Meadow Falls of Bath in Akron, OH is seeking a caring Caregiver to join our team. You will provide personalized assistance to residents, support daily activities, and help maintain their safety and comfort as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience in caregiving or related field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and compassionate approach.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized resident care including personal care and mobility assistance.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare and serve meals, maintaining dietary requirements.
• Encourage socialization through activities, games, and outings.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment following infection control protocols.
• Document care and progress, communicating with healthcare professionals and families.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans.
