Job summary

Dimensions Living Jefferson, part of Health Dimensions Group, is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide resident support in a senior living community. You will assist with daily activities, meals, safety, and engagement, helping residents maintain dignity and independence.

The role offers part-time or PRN shifts with competitive hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities for ongoing training within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete training upon hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and team members.
• Dependable and flexible with shift availability (including weekends or holidays as needed).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents during mealtimes, recreational activities, and daily routines, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights, ensuring safety and attentiveness at all times.
• Assist with transferring and positioning residents, using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor residents’ health and behavior and report any changes or concerns to nursing or leadership staff.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with residents and families.
• Encourage resident participation in social and wellness activities to enhance quality of life.
• Uphold the mission, values, and care standards of Health Dimensions Group in all interactions.
• Work alongside nurses, dining, and life enrichment staff to coordinate and deliver holistic care.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay current on care practices and community updates.
