Job summary

Sevita, Mentor Community Services in Barnesville, GA, is seeking a caregiver to join our mission-driven team. The role offers part-time hours with shifts 4PM-12AM and 12AM-8AM at the Barnesville site, pay $14.50 per hour, and a supportive work environment.

You'll assist individuals with personal care, help them set goals, and build meaningful relationships. A High School diploma and six months in human services are preferred; valid driver's license and vehicle access are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
