Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in Talent, Oregon is seeking compassionate team members to provide resident services, assist with daily living activities, meal service, housekeeping, and social-recreational activities. You will coordinate with the Health Services Director and other staff to support dignity, privacy and independence for residents.

Responsibilities include helping with ADLs, serving meals, maintaining safety, reporting changes, and participating in orientation for new staff.

Qualifications

• Willingness to adhere to assisted living principles in providing services.
• Adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability; able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with orientation of new staff to job responsibilities.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, and mobility assistance.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
• Provides services per Resident service plans (bathing, toileting, transfers, mobility).
• Maintains infection control procedures and a safe environment.
• Notifies nurse of Resident status/changes as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
