Job summary

Anam Memory Care is a community rooted in love, nurturing, and friendship for individuals living with dementia. We are seeking a positive, dependable Caregiver (Resident Care Assistant) to join our team as a Part-Time role with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift coverage.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, promote dignity and safety, and help create a warm, homelike environment where residents feel valued and supported. Prior care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with dementia or older adults preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): dressing, hygiene, bathing, toileting, eating, mobility, and more.
• Support instrumental ADLs: housekeeping, laundry, personal belongings, and telephone use.
• Monitor resident safety and overall well-being.
• Document important health and behavioral observations.
• Participate in life enrichment activities alongside residents and Life Enrichment staff.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Complete light administrative and supply-related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
