Job summary

Elim Shores, a Cassia community in Eden Prairie, MN, is hiring a Caregiver (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team. This on-call position focuses on helping residents with daily living activities in a supportive, family‑first setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, medication administration, and monitoring residents’ well‑being. Wage range is $17.85–$20.82 per hour, depending on experience, with training provided and a caring, low‑turnover workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar setting a plus.
• A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed; report changes to RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with shampooing, bathing, nail and foot care, and medication administration.
