Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience.
• Previous experience in home care or a similar setting is a plus but not necessary; what matters most is your kindness and eagerness to make a difference.
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature because a warm, empathetic approach is at the heart of what we do.
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background checks because we value trust and integrity in our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; your support helps our clients maintain dignity and comfort
• Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking
• Prepare and serve meals so clients have tasty and healthy food
• Medication reminders are crucial to our client’s health, we will train you
• Provide companionship, engage in fun activities and be the friendly face and joyful presence that makes every day a little brighter
• Show enthusiasm for helping others, eagerness to learn, and motivation to provide excellent care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes
• Occasional Transportation of your client to appointments or errands, we reimburse your miles
• Demonstrate dedication to our clients and respect for our agency’s close knit team
