Job summary
Americana Davison is seeking a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team. The right candidate will provide high-quality, one-on-one care, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility assistance and daily living support in the client's home.
The role requires a genuine caregiving attitude, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, valid driver’s license, and availability for various shifts, including nights and weekends. We offer competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in healthcare or in-home care preferred (minimum 1 year).
- Willing to work nights and weekends.
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
- Support medication reminders and assist with ambulatory needs.
- Assist with mobility around the home and accompany to appointments.
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Administer daily living activities and assist with meals.
- Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Engage clients with meaningful activities to support daily living.
