Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Caregiver in Cherry Hill Township, NJ who holds CNA or CHHA certification in NJ. The role includes assisting residents with daily living activities, medication reminders, and providing emotional support in a team setting.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of senior care experience, strong English communication, and the ability to document care and follow schedules set by supervisors.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in senior care.
• CNA or CHHA license issued in NJ.
• Proficient English to perform duties, communicate with supervisor and respond in emergencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging and empathetic.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations.
• Maintain residents’ confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other daily living activities.
• Follow the schedule of residents' needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
