Job summary

The Meadows, A Park Home Personal Care Community in Montoursville, PA seeks a compassionate nursing aide to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration under the direction of the Personal Care Supervisor.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, meal service, reporting changes, and maintaining safety and cleanliness while adhering to regulatory standards and facility policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving, Med Tech or CNA experience preferred.
• Direct Care Worker Certification, CPR/First Aid, Med Tech Certification, and Diabetic Certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Support IADLs including escorting, meal service, activities, and light cleaning.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Provide assistance with medications as delegated (if trained/certified).
• Respond to call bells and resident requests promptly.
• Support residents with safe ambulation and transport within the facility.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff using respectful, patient-centered language.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement activities.
• Assist with recreational and social activities for residents.
• Comply with all facility policies, safety practices, and regulatory standards.
