Job summary

Meadowbrook of Racine is seeking a caring Caregiver to support residents with daily activities and health monitoring. This role involves personal care, medication administration, mobility assistance, and engaging residents in activities to promote well-being.

Applicants should have caregiving experience or relevant healthcare background, strong communication, and a compassionate attitude toward seniors. The position requires lifting safety, standard precautions, and availability for 3pm–11pm

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
CBRF Certifications preferred.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards seniors.
Ability to lift and move safely as required.
Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
Availability to work 2nd shift hours (3pm - 11pm), including every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Administer medication as directed.
Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the appropriate staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
Perform light housekeeping.
