Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate caregivers in Illinois to help seniors age with dignity at home. Depending on client needs you will provide companionship, personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders.

We offer starting pay $18-$20/hour with an extra $2/hour on weekends, PTO, flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• A genuine desire to care for older adults.
• A positive and professional attitude.
• Dependability and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
• A reliable vehicle.
• A valid driver's license.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
• Mobility and transfer assistance.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Transportation to appointments and activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Support that helps clients remain safely and independently at home.
