Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking caring individuals to join our Illinois team as in-home caregivers. Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and medication reminders.

You will help clients stay safely at home with dignity and respect. We value reliability, compassion, and professionalism, with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement within our growing company.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• A genuine desire to care for older adults
• A positive and professional attitude
• Dependability and strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
• A reliable vehicle
• A valid driver's license
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
