Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Prosper serves the Pilot Point area and is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide high-quality, compassionate care that supports clients’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.

The role involves personal care, help with daily living activities, and encouraging client engagement in activities that promote overall health. You will work 12-hour days, including some evenings and weekends, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or related field
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work 12 hours a day, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may be required)
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as needed
• Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping
• Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being, such as exercise, socializing, and hobbies
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including documentation of client care and progress
