Job summary

FirstLight Home Care, based in Wisconsin, is seeking Compassionate Caregivers to deliver in-home non-medical care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will work with a dedicated caregiving team to provide personalized support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.

This role offers both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules, Monday through Sunday availability, and training is provided to build skills while delivering compassionate, dignified care in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Empathy and compassion for providing care to seniors and those with disabilities.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and task prioritization.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities to ensure comfort and safety.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance well-being.
• Help with meal preparation and accommodate dietary needs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the caregiving team to maintain communication and care consistency.

Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure that each client receives the personalized support they need to enhance their quality of life. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to provide care with compassion and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.

3. Help with meal preparation and dietary needs based on client preferences.
