Job summary

Sevita is hiring caregivers to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live well and independently. You’ll assist with personal care, help participants pursue daily activities, and support their goals in a compassionate, community-based setting.

You will work with a dedicated team, receive training, competitive pay, benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities for growth within a large national organization. A valid driver’s license is often required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Provide care coordination and daily living support to help participants stay independent.
