Job summary

Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a Diversified Technician to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role combines patient care with light clerical duties on the nursing unit.

Must graduate high school; CNA program preferred; hospital experience may substitute; nursing assistant experience and ED exposure preferred; strong teamwork and communication required.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program preferred.
• Hospital/healthcare experience and/or on the job training may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
• Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Experience in Emergency Department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform routine clerical and receptionist duties as designated.
• Follow infection control and care plans per department guidelines.
• Assist with patient care activities and document as required.
