Executive Home Care of San Diego is seeking a compassionate Companion & Care Specialist to provide personalized companionship and support to clients across Greater San Diego, including individuals living with Alzheimer's, dementia, ALS and Parkinson's.

You’ll work with flexible schedules, earn $18-$23 per hour, and receive paid training. Responsibilities include helping with daily routines, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and building trusting relationships with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or personal care experience; memory-related conditions experience is a plus.
• Patience, reliability, empathy, and a respectful approach to client care.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans.

Responsabilités

• Provide personalized support and companionship to clients, including individuals living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, ALS, and Parkinson's.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance and support with daily activities per care plans.
• Prepare meals and offer companionship during mealtimes.
• Assist with light housekeeping, errands, grocery shopping, and approved pick-ups.
• Provide transportation to appointments and outings, as applicable.
• Observe and communicate changes in clients' needs or well-being to care team members.
• Build positive relationships with clients and families through dependable, respectful support.
