Job summary

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Care Partner in Ankeny, IA to support residents with daily living activities and companionship. Shift 6:00am to 10:00am, alternating weeks, pay range $16.25–$23 per hour at Rock Creek.

The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork. You will assist with ADLs, help residents stay engaged, and contribute to a warm, home-like environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
• Create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Be present and engaged to support a positive environment for residents and staff.
• Contribute to training and development opportunities and team engagement.
