Job summary

Bowling Green Manor in Ohio is seeking a Housekeeper to perform daily housekeeping tasks across the community, including resident rooms, offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas. The role requires compassion, teamwork and strong service mindset; training available for those new to the field.

Responsibilities include following safety and infection control practices, moving furniture, and supporting laundry duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and have good visual acuity.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to train if no experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, sanitize and dust resident rooms and care center offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Empty trash/waste into proper containers.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures during daily tasks.
• Attend required in-service education.
• Keeps utility, storage areas and equipment neat and clean.
• Follows appropriate Infection Control and Universal Precaution practices when performing department procedures.
• Moving and arranging furniture.
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
• Cross training as laundry worker for special assignments.
• All other duties as assigned.
