Visiting Angels Lawton is seeking caring Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to support seniors in Lawton and surrounding areas. The role involves companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation to appointments as needed.

Ideal candidates demonstrate compassion, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with willingness to provide high-quality elder care and adhere to health and safety standards. Training opportunities are available to enhance dementia or Alzheimer’s care skills.

Qualifications

• Cares for seniors with compassion and reliability.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
• Prepare meals with client input and dietary considerations.
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support routine exercises and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run small errands or accompany clients while shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Be a friendly, supportive companion to clients.
• Report unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
