Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Resident Assistant to provide personal care and related services per individualized care plans. The role supports residents under the Healthcare Coordinator, with certification as a Nurse’s Aide preferred but not required.

The position emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA, with opportunities for training, certifications, and growth in a fast‑growing company.

Qualifications

• Requires basic caregiving skills and ability to follow care plans.
• Capable of interacting compassionately with elderly residents.
• Good teamwork and written/verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and report deviations.
• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, nutrition, transfers, meds reminders).
• Follow care plans and ISP; communicate status changes to supervisors.
• Use standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean resident environments; document progress.
• Encourage resident engagement in activities.
• Uphold HIPAA confidentiality and follow policies.
• Attend biweekly trainings and meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
