Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Georgia is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with daily living activities, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility, while preserving dignity.

You will follow supervisor schedules, provide emotional and social support, document daily logs, report issues, and uphold confidentiality; CNA or CHHA license may be required by state; strong teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency to perform duties and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
