Job summary

Cabot Cove of Largo Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Aide to join our team. You will provide essential support to residents, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being in a caring environment. The shift is 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM for a full-time role.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification preferred, and prior caregiving experience in long-term care or assisted living. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience in long-term care or assisted living is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning in beds or chairs.
• Serve meals and support feeding; respect dietary preferences.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to support mental health.
• Maintain clean and safe environment following infection control protocols.
• Document care provided and observations in residents' records accurately.
• Support residents in hobbies to promote a positive living experience.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure holistic care.
