Job summary

Laguna Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Laguna Hills, CA, seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in line with the residents’ plan and applicable standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA training from accredited school.
• Valid CNA certificate number.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights.
• Ensure privacy of nursing care.
• Making residents comfortable (bed, water, etc.).
• Assisting in feeding residents.
• Helping residents with grooming.
• Proper lifting and transitioning residents.
• Helping residents sit, stand and walk.
• Transporting residents to dining area and back.
• Timely reporting of changes to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Protecting residents' files and data under HIPAA.
• Follow facility policies and infection control.
