Blue Heron Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Bistro Cook to join our dietary team in a full-time role Monday through Friday. The position emphasizes preparing attractive meals, maintaining a clean dining environment, and complying with safety policies while supporting residents' needs.

Qualifications include understanding dining services, strong English literacy, and the ability to read recipes. Experience with ServSafe is preferred; witness a strong commitment to residents' wellbeing and

• Have an understanding of Dining Services procedures and practices.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and managerial skills and follow instructions.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must read recipes and menus.
• Interest in seniors and dedication to residents and facility.
• High integrity and ability to interact tactfully with residents and staff.

Mansioni

• Prepare quality food according to recipes and menus.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods.
• Record temperatures daily.
• Supervise Dining Aides when needed.
• Keep meals on time and collect resident feedback when possible.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and infection-control standards.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking of kitchen and dining areas.
• Attend in-service trainings and staff meetings.
