Job summary

Carrollton Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Van Driver to transport patients between locations, maintain mileage logs, and keep vehicles clean and ready for patient care. This role emphasizes safety, dignity, and timely service in our behavioral health setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2 years of driving experience, a valid license with a clean MVR, CPR and CPI training within 30 days, and experience with 8-12 passenger vans; flexible hours and overtime may be

Qualifications

• Experience with chemical dependency or psychiatric patients preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years paid or volunteer driving experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service position.
• Valid driver's license and a favorable MVR with proof of insurance.
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• At least one (1) year experience driving 8-12 passenger vans professionally preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely to hospital campus or designated locations.
• Maintain daily mileage logs and gas receipts.
• Keep vehicle interior clean and presentable for patient transport.
• Maintain mileage records for scheduling routine vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure patients are supervised; safety and dignity are maintained at all times.
