Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support patients in a compassionate, patient-centered care environment. Under RN supervision, you will assist with ADLs, monitor behaviors, and support treatment plans in a behavioral health setting.

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field is required or alternative qualifications.
• Associate degree plus experience in behavioral health or minimum three years in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Monitor and document patient behaviors, moods, and physical status; report changes to licensed staff.
• Lead or co-lead therapeutic groups and activities.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and meals; participate in safety rounds.
