Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking a compassionate Recovery Support Specialist in Prescott Valley. The role focuses on mentoring clients, coordinating with clinical staff, and connecting clients with community resources to support recovery journeys.

You will assist with skills training, case management and non-clinical interventions, while helping families understand and access available services. A driver’s license and fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21-year age or older.
• High School diploma or GED and six weeks (240 hours) of behavioral health experience.
• Peer Support Training required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides mentoring/support to individuals/families in services in coordination with clinical services.
• Assists designated clinical personnel in completing specified support activities.
• Provides education and support to family members.
• Plans and organizes activities within the outpatient structure.
• Completes daily paperwork requirements, including clinical record documentation.
• Collaborates with clinical teams and case managers to advocate for the client’s best interest.
• Transports clients as appropriate in SB&H vehicle.
• May cover evening/weekend hours and be on call as required.
• Participates in weekly clinical overnight in accordance with ADHS requirements.
