Job summary

Acadia Healthcare seeks a Behavioral Health Associate to help keep patients safe and support their recovery in a structured, team-focused setting. You will provide hands-on care and compassionate support, contributing to meaningful work with consistent hours and opportunities for growth.

You will work under clinical leadership to maintain a safe environment, demonstrate empathy, and address patient concerns promptly to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience working with a similar patient population.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certifications required; training provided on hire.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional approach with patients and team members.
• Address patient concerns promptly and respectfully to support satisfaction and safety.
